As new parents, we often marvel at the miracle of a baby's birth. As our children age, their seemingly carefree accomplishments are often unheralded playing at a park, riding a bike, talking on the phone. But for the children that we help, miracles are counted every day by a tiny footstep, an unlabored breath, a single word spoken, or a glint of understanding.
